Special guests include famed author Mel Gordon presenting a talk (with rare film and photos) about origins of the genre and signing copies of his book “Theatre of Fear and Horror: The Grisly Spectacle of the Grand Guignol of Paris 1897-1962” (which he’s dedicated to Blackwood). Stage Combat Director Dave Maier (SF Opera, Berkeley Rep & Thrillpeddlers) leads members of the audience in a master class on stage violence. Jill Tracy will perform songs of romantic terror.
